My teeth hurt while i play really high notes or really low notes on alto saxophone?

Q: Is this normal? I started playing alto in November if that helps.

A: Not sure, but a mouthpiece cushion may be able to help cushion your teeth, as well as prevent your teeth from making indents in the mouthpiece.
