What are the difference between BBb tuba, CC tuba, Eb tuba and F tuba?

Q: like fingerings, prefered range of play and sound?

A: Unlike the other instruments in the band, tuba parts aren't provided transposed. Tuba parts are provided in concert pitch and the player learns a different set of fingerings for each horn. (In some older music, the Eb Tuba part is written in treble

This is my small (actually their “medium”, the small wasn’t much smaller) pre-1915 HN White King Eb tuba. The mouthpiece is a shallow 30mm no-name, with a shank in between bass trombone and American tuba. The horn is stock except for the 1st slide being flipped and the very long main tuning slide crook cut down. Yes, those last few notes are kinda sharp. When I play in that range for a while my ears stop up and I have a hard time hearing pitch.
