Marshall Jcm 2000/dsl 401 Guitar Amp | Used Guitar Amps

It is great for blues (of course) and classic to hard rock (early Aerosmith, Bad Co) and even heavy metal (without the thump of a 4×12). Stick a pedal in the front end as it it takes OD and distortion pedals well. It is probably best suited for blues and classic rock (so classic rock) and some of the harder edged rock stuff. It is NOT a 4×12 so please do not expect that 4×12 thump. The amp does lack some low end but used with the right pedal (I use a Marshall Govnor and a Boss EQ pedal), or drive an external 2×12 closed back cab, you can get some of that in there for sure.
